<p>Based on Kootenai County laws, it is illegal for non-tribal individuals in Conkling Park or other locations on or off the reservation to use aerial fireworks without a permit.  This restriction includes use on private or public land or over a lake or river.  Violations are generally considered to be a misdemeanor.  The attached paper provides a more detailed discussion of the legal requirements and enforcement authorities on the use of fireworks in Conkling Park.</p>
